My car was repaired the same day.
It was a first basic service. The work was carried out satisfactorily but I delivered the vehicle at 08.45 hours but it was not available for collection until 18.00 hours in the evening.
Service done on time
Super service but parking at service department was a problem.
Eventually all was good. However I had difficulty coordinating a service and the replacement of a fog light.First point of contact Lauren was insisting that I had to have the light assessed by an engineer before a new one was ordered.
Easy and straightforward.
Everything went as I expected
All my vehicle maintenance over the last 10 years has been performed by Sycamore and has always been to a high standard at a sensible price.
In the beginning failure to call back twice over a problem of drive train. Then invited to two VIP E vents to view new models. When I did attend no one asked how I was getting back to Bourne nor when I collected the car post work. I had complained.
Engine light kept coming on straight after service, also steering seems to wonder on the road which didn't before.
Good communications and work completed on time as agreed.
Richard listener , was courteous, informative and responsive in addressing what was required of my car. Sarah , the manager,in passing chose to ask me how things had gone with my visit .. she knows who I am!
Prompt and efficient, with good explanations of work done.
As above the disappointing thing was my car was scratched following the wash it recieved. I only noticed it when the sun shone. Another aspect which could be improved was I would have had to wait for approx a month to have to use of courtesy vehicle.
Due to a fault on my car you supplied me with a courtesy car at very short notice which enabled me to complete a business trip.
Items requested for attention were dealt with

I was disappointed to find my idrive reset to factory settings, lots of the settings, including seat memory positions - I'm sure there's a way you can save my settings, so the car is just as I like it when I pick it up. That's what idrive is for!
No time was wasted
For possibly the first time spot on service no issues, big improvement on previous visits

The dealership is v busy and the waiting time to get a service slot was nearly 3 weeks. I added additional service requirements during the period which were accommodated but there are already new service requirements within a few thousand miles!
The car was returned serviced. You did what I expected you to do!
All good except parking to drop the car off was very difficult. There was nowhere to park except in a nearby factory car park. Also, nobody's fault but there were lots of people picking up cars at the same time causing a lengthy delay
A long time to get an appointment, unsatisfactory answers to uneven tyre wear and very expensive wheel alignment
More like the standard of service experienced on all but the last service
Inconsistent approach to pricing, not aligned to bmw standard price list. Vehicle not checked for damage before / after service - wheels damaged when I inspected car.
Swift and smooth experience, apart from parking. Parking is a nightmare. However apologies were given.
I just feel the overall experience was not welcoming or customer focused. I specifically stated I needed the car for 3pm, this was not noted on my form and I was made to feel that this might not be possible and that it was going to be an inconvenien
The front of house team are great and they have always looked after me in the branch. I've found Sycamore Peterborough much better in terms of service than Barons Cambridge in relation to service. Sycamore are becoming my garage of choice.
everything is excellent, apart from the cost
As above, I actually got the feeling I was irrelevant, this is my 4th BMW and have always used Sycamores Peterborough, bit I will never buy another BMW again or recommend this garage
Cannot fault the workshop or the staff at reception

I was very impressed with the service dept and Sarah who heads up the dept. She has made a massive difference in terms of the way you are looked after, kept informed of progress etc.

Had to wait about 5 weeks for service, had a lot of warnings which worried me like drive straight to a b m w garage now, I was told to phone assist who told me I needed to sort a service out quickly m but nobody could help me with that ?
The receptionist was excellent. On arrival she immediately got the Service Advisor to attend to me. When I returned in the afternoon to collect the car, she had remembered my name and informed the Service Advisor (Gemma) that I had arrived.
Booked online with no problems, car needed a recall so they cancelled by booking despite the car needing the service. Had to rebook for another time
Fitted me in at short notice (flat tyre). Ordered tyre in advance, and all work was completed on time. Also cleaned car. However did to clean up new tyre hence only 4 stars

Poor availability for booking service and advisor did not identify the correct service for my vehicle. Booked online as availability was better.

Both times I have used the Service Department the work on my car hasn't been completed
As above comments, spoke to the device assistant on booking in and handing keys, as I was on the phone they told me everything had been completed. I left, drive up the road only for the fault to register again when I was 3 miles up the road
Staff where polite and friendly while everything was dealt with professionaly.
They diagnosed and fixed the (unknown) problem in good time and kept me informed during the process.
Staff went out of their way to offer me a loan car of my choice
Nothing out of the ordinary and very expensive for what has actually been done

Came in with a rattle at back of my X1 and left with the rattle but not the £141 I paid. I was told it was 90% cured. Its not its the same. Disillusioned with Sycamores after having had my last four vehicles from you.

came in for a service and the service system is telling me my service is due in 3500 miles, not sure about that one.
This was a fairly routine warranty problem ( infoscreen failure) but was dealt with rapidly and professionally
Completely competent and friendly staff. New car in perfect condition.
Very happy. No problems arose that I was aware of. The registration with private number plate went without hitch. Care of finding me the right vehicle was easy and found. Collection date very quick.

I felt valued, I was given the time needed and nothing was too much. David and Nathan both engaged me on a level that helped me enjoy the experience.
Cannot fault the service from the entire team. Always a really warm welcome from the reception team when phoning in or entering the building. I think that is a lovely gesture.

Unfortunately there were a few imperfections on the car which will have to be rectified but we appreciate that the turnaround time from delivery to us collecting it was shorter than usual

The whole experience from the initial enquire to the car handover was excellent. All the showroom staff were courteous, helpful and followed through on what was agreed. Our Sales Exec, Trevor Smith, was so helpful and patient.
