Inspiring the next generation of automotive talent.

Yesterday, Tyrell, a former Stamford College student and current Sycamore BMW Workshop Technician, returned to the college alongside Kai, our Senior Service Advisor, to speak to Motor Vehicle students about careers within the automotive industry and our BMW apprenticeship scheme.

Tyrell shared his journey from completing his Level 1 Motor Vehicle qualification at Stamford College to securing a three-year BMW apprenticeship and building his career with Sycamore BMW. Kai also gave students an insight into his role, from supporting customers to helping manage complex vehicle diagnostics.

Of course, we couldn’t visit without bringing along some BMWs! Students had the opportunity to get a closer look at the fully electric BMW iX3, the BMW X5 and the BMW 1 Series.

Thank you to Stamford College for having us. It was fantastic to meet the students and hopefully inspire some of Sycamore BMW’s future apprentices!
