The BMW M240i will put a “big smile on your face”: The Independent17/11/2016
When compared to the Porsche Cayman, the updated BMW M240i is “better equipped” and just as fun to drive, says The Independent, thanks to its “agility, balance and immense drivability”.
The M235i, now called the M240i, has had a number of exciting revisions to its performance, most notably through improved torque, speed and fuel consumption. Enhancements to the engine mean that there is now “335bhp and 369lb ft at your disposal”, with a swift 4.8 second sprint speed and an engine that is surprisingly 7% more fuel efficient than before. This is a car that really thrives at faster speeds, with an eight-speed gearbox that “sings for joy when revved”.
On top of this, the car’s handling is a delight, heightened further by the adaptive shock absorbers which, although optional, have noticeable shock absorbers; although optional, “their worth is evident in every mode”.
Inside, the M240i offers the perfect driving environment with luxurious materials, elegant design and the “undefeated BMW iDrive infotainment system”. Furthermore, the noise of the engine isn’t noticeable inside the cabin, making the ride even more relaxing and enjoyable.
Experience the refreshed M240i for yourself.
