Car Magazines BMW M760Li xDrive V12 (2017) review07/02/2017
The new BMW 7 Series flagship model has been likened to the fictional Dr Bruce Banner, with it being described as ‘Impeccably well-mannered, bristling with intelligence and reassuringly easy to live with, yet when provoked, it’s a visceral and snarlingly potent performance car.’
The intricate details are impressive as you would expect with the inclusion of the latest 12-cylinder engine. It’s colossal 6.6-litre capacity is accompanied by a pair of turbochargers, unleashing a mammoth 602bhp capable of a breath-taking top speed of 189mph ‘when you opt for the M Driver’s Package’.
When considering other sport saloons, if you were to think that so much power would limit the agility of the drive, you would more than likely be right. The BMW M760Li, however, is the exception to the rule, with its ‘proactive electronic anti-roll bars and intelligent all-wheel drive system’ making it ‘feel remarkably nimble for something so gargantuan.’
