“BMW HoloActive Touch holographic interior concept revealed” by Auto Express12/01/2017
BMW is renowned for innovation and progress in the pursuit for the ultimate driving experience. Yet again, they have superseded expectations with their latest creation at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
Building on last year’s AirTouch gesture control BMW created the futuristic HoloActive touch display. This innovation ‘combines that gesture control system with touchscreens and tech similar to that of head-up displays to create a whole new interior layout.’ This glimpse into the future may not be too far away, after the introduction of the gesture control technology to the BMW 5 Series and BMW 7 Series back in 2015.
The HoloActive Touch looks to be the focal point of BMW’s theme for this year’s Consumer Electronics Show. ‘It’s part of the BMW i Inside Future study, which will showcase “the mobility experience set to be offered by seamlessly connected and autonomously-driving cars in the future”’
